Wits and Wagers Family is a simplified version of Wits and Wagers. The questions are geared toward children a bit more and the betting is easy. Northstar Games has taken an award-winning formula and made a great family edition that everyone can enjoy.
The game plays basically the same as the original Wits and Wagers. The difference is instead of betting poker chips each player/team has meeples to wager. One meeple is large and the other is small. You bet with your meeples, but cannot lose them.
All answers are numbers and the correct answer is the one that is closest to the actual number without going over. The large meeple gets you 2 points if he is on the correct answer and the small meeple gets you 1 point for being on the correct answer. You also receive 1 point for being the closest to the right answer without going over.
Once a team scores 15 points the game is over.
I really like Wits and Wagers and I have young children. Unfortunately they are too young to enjoy this game. My niece and nephew on the other hand are a tad older and playing Wits and Wagers Family with them is a lot of fun.

Haven’t played this one, but the original Wits and Wagers is the only trivia game that I actually enjoy 🙂
