Thinking about all the words I type on this site got me thinking about the Word Games I enjoy. So here is my list of the Top Ten Word Games. I only list games I have played. If I have not played a game but heard good things about it, it is listed with the honorable mentions below.

10. Password – not just a famous TV show

9. Scrabble – can take a long time, but simply a classic

8. Scattergories – funny alliteration litters this game

7. Bananagrams – speed Scrabble, enjoyable for all

6. Taboo – good for big groups

5. Catchphrase – similar to Taboo and also good for parties

4. Boggle – fast word search, another classic

3. Balderdash – some funny definitions and moments come out of this word game

2. WayWord – combines a few games on this list for a fun, unique experience

1. Word on the Street – fun tug of war with words
