GUBs is a card game where you are trying to collect gubs which are strange little bug-like creatures. You can protect them, steal them and even kill them. But you want end the game with the most.

GUBs Rules Description:

To begin GUBs three cards labeled G,U and B are shuffled into the deck. The game ends once you draw all three letters. If you have more GUBs in play than your opponents you win the game.

On your turn you have the option of drawing a card. Then you may play as many cards from your hand a you like. Some cards protect your GUBs, some allow you to steal your opponents’ unprotected GUBs and some are events that can vastly change the playing field.

Quick Review of GUBs:

The tagline for GUBs is, “A Game of Wits and Luck” and it takes both of these to win. There is tension as you play GUBs. You must determine risk and if your GUBs are in danger and just how soon the game will end.

The artwork and cards are of great quality and the rules are fairly straightforward. After a couple plays you should have a good understanding of all the cards and their functions.

This game is great to play with kids and adults can enjoy it too. It plays pretty fast and is easy to learn.

Some people will not like the amount of luck involved in GUBs, but there is some strategy in card play and timing.

If you are looking for a lighter game with a good bit of controlled chaos then give GUBS a try. It is also great if you play games with kids.
