Elephant’s Trunk is a game for young kids. You must help Emmet the elephant pack his trunks for vacation. The first to get rid of all their clothing tokens wins.
You start the game with 6 to 12 clothes tokens depending on the number of players. On your turn you roll the die. If you roll a color you place one of your tokens in the corresponding colored trunk. If Emmet is next to the color trunk you roll you place two items in the trunk.
If you roll the mouse the trunk Emmet is in front of dumps and you get all the clothing tokens it held. If you can complete a set of clothes (cap, shirt, shorts and socks) you can remove them from the game. Emmet then moves to the next trunk.
If you are the first to get rid of your tokens you win.
Elephant’s Trunk is a fun, educational kids game. The theme is great and works very well as the mouse runs around dumping the trunks and scaring Emmet. The game plays quickly and booth you and your kids should enjoy the experience.
Your young children might even learn some things. This game helps teach colors, matching and set collection. Older children may already now these things but will still have fun.
The components for this game are awesome. The little metal trunks are very cute and everything in the box is high quality.
I thought the mouse dumping the trunks would make this game too long, but being able to remove sets of clothes helps take care of this. If you have young preschool age kids and are looking for a game for them then Elephant’s Trunk is worth a look.
