Board game reviews, strategy tips & session reports
So I run a Dungeon and Dragons 4th edition game. I had been playing in a 3.5 game for a while, but haven’t run a role playing game in 8+ years. My group went through a short introductory adventure about a month ago. I figured I’d try a full adventure and write about how things went and what happened here. Maybe even give some DM tips. Although not specifically a board game I thought these reports would add a different flavor to this site.
We decided trying a 5th level adventure would be fun. I found one in Dragon Magazine called Heathen that I thought my group would enjoy. I searched the internet to see how this adventure went for other DMs. My findings were both enlightening and helpful. I have implemented some of their ideas that I thought added to the adventure. So without further ado…let me introduce you to the party.

Donaar is a dragonborn fighter with a big axe and an attitude to match.
Render is a half-orc barbarian who can dish out the pain.
Auidar is a halfing druid that turns into a dire rat with a nasty bite.
Orsik is a dwarven warlord willing to help allies as quickly as he is willing to harm foes.
Tony is an elven ranger specializing in ranged attacks that turn enemies into pin cushions.
I hope you enjoy the ride while we follow the party’s adventures.
Yay, pin cushions!!!
Seriously, you need pictures. If I shoot stuff with my iPhone during the game and email them to you or to an automatic email upload thing that could generate interest.
Create a special twitter account that you use only for D&D.
Then add a twitter API to this blog. The spiders will see the activity and consider it an active site. This will generate interest without a lot of work.
Use Twitpic to simultaneously upload and update your blog with less effort.
Photos really add interest.
Dude! This is great.
Congrats
Great job, Jason; it’s a fun blog to read, and the pictures by Dave look fantastic!
