Once the treasure is loaded on the three skiffs, Rhotan Vor asks the adventurers to travel with them (not scout ahead like before). Their destination is the large city-state Tyr and it will take a few days to get there.
After an uneventful day of travel night falls and the group makes camp. Halfway through the night while Arannis is on watch he thinks he sees something. The next thing he knows he is bit by a large wrym.
Arannis strikes back and yells for the party to wake up. The wyrm hits Aannis again as Aram wakes up. Seeing the danger he summons his elemental who slams into the large creature.
Otiril also gets up. Instantly he charges the wyrm gashing it with his new magic great axe. One by one the adventurers wake up and gang up on the wyrm. Clay hits then Meldrick slices into it deeply.
Arannis slides the wyrm as it lashes out at Clay and Otiril. Soon the party has it surrounded. As it is hit silken strands restrain and burn its attackers with acid.
Otiril is tied down and Clay swings but misses. Meldrick is there to finish the job though. After a short rest the heroes scan the perimeter and then sleep for the rest of the night.
DM Notes:
Although a good fight again being so outnumbered and some critical hits made this easier for the PCs. Also the reaction power was hard to understand and implement, but that might have just been me.
