Top 10 Gateway Games
First, my definition of a gateway game. A gateway game has to enamor people who may not regularly play board games, not be too complex and usually introduce some new mechanics to players. I say enamor because it has to be enough fun that the new player really wants to play it again or at least be willing to try more games like it. As a caveat I am only listing games I have played.

Ticket to Ride is a board game that is easy to learn and fun to play. Your goal is to score the most points by laying trains to connect cities in the United States. The person with the most points when someone runs out of trains wins the game.
