Modern Art has you playing a high-stakes art dealer. Your goal is to make money. You start with $50k and must buy and sell paintings. After four rounds the player with the most money wins. Value of a painting is determined by the most popular artist. Once 5 paintings by one artist have been put up for auction the round ends.
Say Anything is party game by the makers of Wits and Wagers. If you have played and enjoy Apples to Apples and Wits and Wagers, then you are sure to like this game. Say Anything is a great blend of these great party games.
I decided to write this post after getting some great feedback from people at Northstar Games on my review of Wits and Wagers. I bought the game soon after it came out since I had heard such good things about it. So the review I wrote was for the first edition of the game. Some of the rules were tweaked and take care of the problems I had with the game.
Tsuro is a tile laying game that is easy to learn and can incorporate up to 8 players. The tiles show paths and on your turn you must lay a tile next to your pawn. If the path leads you into another person’s pawn or off the board you lose. The last player on the board wins.
Wits and Wagers is a great party game that makes trivia fun and easy. You and your team are asked questions then bet chips on which team’s answer is correct. The team with the most points worth of chips at the end of the game wins.
