Board game reviews, strategy tips & session reports
Stats:
No. of players: 2-8
Amount of time to play: 15-20 min
Age requirements: 8+
Set-up time: minimal
While these games don’t introduce new elements they do add more replay value to the Timeline series.
I previously reviewed Timeline: Inventions and these two additions to the series play the same. Your goal is to get rid of your cards by placing them in chronological order within the timeline of cards. The more cards that have been placed the harder this gets.
While neither of these games offer new mechanics or game play, they do add more cards. These new cards add a ton of Replay Value to the Timeline series. Especially when you consider you can combine all three games as you like.
Both these games are great for the range of players that can play them. The game scales great and can be taught and played by both gamers and non-gamers in minutes.
If you like history you will like this series and both these games. If you own any one game in this series and like it you should add at least another one. Being able to mix these games makes owning more than one a great way to get more value and fun out of them.
