Oz Fluxx is a chaotic card game like the original Fluxx. The difference is this one is set in the Wonderful World of Oz.
You start Oz Fluxx with three cards. Each turn you draw one card then play one card. Keepers and Creepers are cards that stay in front of you. Goal cards are played and create the latest win condition. If the current Goal matches your Keepers (and sometimes Creepers) you win.
There are new rules that can change the hand number of cards you draw, play or that you can keep. Action cards allow you draw from the discard pile, steal Keepers, remove or Creepers and a lot of other wacky things.
Surprise cards allow you to stop an action or card play of an opponent on their turn. If played on your turn they give you a different action.
You play through the deck reshuffling if it runs out. But once someone meets the current Goal they win.
Oz Fluxx is similar to the original Fluxx and the other sets in the series. There is a lot of chaos and laughter as you try to get the right Keepers to win.
Since it is themed for Oz everything focuses on that magical land. There is a Rule card that lets you draw a card and play it immediately if you tap your heels together three times. And a cyclone Action that takes all the Keepers and Creepers and deals them out randomly to each player. All the cards are relevant to Oz.
Oz Fluxx is a chaotic game that is great for families and non-gamers. It is simple to teach and can play very quickly. Though not as strategic as I like my games to be, Oz Fluxx is enjoyable and a very good filler. If you like the Wizard of Oz or any of the Fluxx games, you will enjoy Oz Fluxx.
